Simple SELECT’s

• SELECT * FROM tblNm WHERE … ORDER BY col1, col2

• Specify only columns you need (FNm, LNm, Phone) – only take what you will eat

• Use Aliases where necessary (self join) or helpful to document (ContactFName)

• Only take rows you need (WHERE Dept = ‘Eng’)
